Here’s how you can access Group Policy Editor on Windows 11:


Using Start Menu

Open Search menu via the Taskbar.

Open Windows Run by pressing Windows Key + R at the same time.

Type ‘gpedit.msc’ in Windows Run and press Enter.

Using Windows Settings

Open Windows Settings by going to Search menu and typing ‘Settings’.

Type ‘group policy’ in the search menu of the settings and then click on ‘Edit group policy’.

Using Task Manager

Open Task Manager by right-clicking the Start menu at the Taskbar.

Alternatively you can press CTRL+SHIFT+ESC in combination to open Task Manager.

Type ‘gpedit.msc’ in the search field and check the option ‘Create this task with administrative privileges’.

Type ‘cmd’ in the search menu and right-click it to ‘run it as administrator’.
